Falling off track :(

Since school started I am:

1.) Way hungrier therefore eating more
2.) Stressed, so eating worse (really bad foods)
3.) Busy, therefore not getting in: (i) A good workout (ii) Enough workouts per week

And it's all making me feel horrible! My stomach hurts from the crappy food and I feel horrible for not working out.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I'm in grad school and doing my clinical practicum at the same time, so I hear you.
I decided to do my workouts in the morning. Otherwise, a million things get in the way in the afternoon and then I'm exhausted in the evening. It's worth it for me to get up earlier and do it. I feel accomplished and full of energy the rest of the day as well.
As for food, it helps to plan ahead and prepare foods. That way you don't have to think about it, you just open the fridge and there's something waiting for you. That way, you minimize the chances of going for something convenient and unhealthy.
You can do this. Really. I was stressed out during the summer because I thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but it's doable! Plan, plan, plan and do your best to stick to the plan.

Awhh you're 'You can do this' gave me some hope!

You're right, Sunday night I need to go grocery shopping and prepare myself for the week. Even freezing lots of stuff would be simple yet effective.

I am a mom of two boys, work 5 part time jobs and am trying to do online college. I am crazy busy and have experienced all the items you listed. I too have found that I have to workout in the morning. I get up at 4:45 and get to the gym or the hiking trail by 5:30 except on the weekends when I start hiking at 6:00 when the sun comes up. I get in an hour and a half workout before showering and heading to work. I do this for three reasons...

    1. I am flooded with amazing endorphins which push me through the rest of my day.
    2. It wakes up my brain and helps me to focus for the next several hours.
    3. It helps me eat on plan the rest of the day...I am not likely to eat something stupid after I worked so hard to burn the calories.

Oh yeah...one more thing...I AM DONE!!

Hate to be one of those people you are going to have to deal with stress and not enough hours in the day for the rest of your life so there is no better time to figure out a way to make it work than right now. Get in your workout first thing in the morning even if it means you have to get up at the butt crack of dawn. The workout itself should be a catalyst for eating better for the rest of the day. Eating better quality foods should help control your hunger. Keep your head down and get to work, there's no better time to make the changes you need than right now.

    Hahah tough love hey?

So I realized the worst thing I do and that's late night snacking. Which I never used to do previously! But I'm taking in more calories during the day so I don't think it's due to hunger.

Any suggestions on how to combat those stress-induced cravings?
