BIG guy!!

Hello,
Just making this promoted by a comment I saw in another thread.
This is about men who are overweight/obese- I understand there are some different, as well as many shared experiences, for men with weight problem, and women with weight problem. And I know women have some tough stuff to deal with...

But for now I am talking about how when you are a big man, other men seem to find it really OK to prefer to your size in addressing you. Like calling you 'big fella' 'big man' 'big guy' etc like its your name. Or if you called John or something, people knowing you as 'big John'. OK, I know even slim men get called this sometimes, but it is definitely more common and I would say more pointed, for overweight men. In general I find other men often think it si OK to mention weight, like I won't be offended. One last observation, I find men often want to touch me (OMG, I don't mean in that way, I wish hehehe)- no like, matey slap on the back or shoulder etc. I feel like they didn't come across a physical presence like mine much and wanted to see if it was true!

Sorry if I sound like I have a chip on my shoulder I just like talking basically, and this was on my mind. What do you think?

Coming from a female-perspective I have some similar experiences like having 'big put in front of my name & guys finding it amusing to say that I had ' rugby players legs' which is quite ironic now as they are my best feature due to being apple shaped !!
On your other point , as I've always been tall ( 5' 91/2 ) and over weight guys havent wanted to be protective of me by putting their arms around me - they seem to see me as one of the guys !!
