Bad week :-(

This week has been a really bad week for me. I've fallen off the band wagon. Time to get back on track. How? Back to the basics.

Sorry you had a rough time. It happens. Now forget it and continue with your healthy habits. You CAN do it!!!0

You can turn it around one step at a time. Even today, I had a bad day and cheated with fro-yo, but I went for 2 walks with my kids that ate up a few of those calories. The entire journey can't happen overnight, and I'm sure we'll all have ups and downs. Just don't get so down you give up.0

One day will not derail you. Tomorrow is another chance to make better choices. Trust me this is normal. I remind myself of this all the time. You can do it. Don't give up on yourself.0

Iv been doing this for a while now and still fall off on days. All you can do is put it behind you and keep going towards that goal.0

I think the secret to successful weightloss is not in the "being perfect" all the time.....but jumping back on track when you've fallen off...because everyone does.
Just get back to it..don't beat yourself up. So you needed a break? big deal.0 -

A bad day, or even week, now and then is just not important in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes it is even good. You're going on that vacation to Europe you've always dreamed of and you aren't going to take advantage of every opportunity to sample the local fare? Nonsense. You go home to visit family after a long time away and you aren't going to let your Mom feed you your favorite childhood dishes? Or meet your friends at the local greasy spoon that has nothing healthy on the menu? Again, nonsense. And occasionally we all fall off the wagon. I went into a Mexican restaurant the other day fully intending to get a grilled fish salad they offer and ended up with a burrito. It happens.
The key is to not let a bad meal turn into an excuse for more bad meals, bad days turn into a bad week or a bad week turn into bad weeks on end.
I just try to put the bad day or week out of my mind and go back to my plan. Yes the slip plays on my mind a bit for a day or two, but the less I worry about it and the more I focus on my goals and my plan the quicker it becomes a non-event. You've already lost 12 pounds, one bad week is no more than a pebble in the way of losing the next 12.0 -
