Ooopsie! Gained again... Water pills next?

So...a series of unfortunate events has led to a backslide on my part and I've gained 7 pounds! I started a 2nd job, my treadmill broke, I joined a gym, but my car broke down for a while this summer...now I'm thinking about trying out the water pills, hoping to lose some weight that way until I get a new eliptical and/or the temperature outside goes down enough to actually start jogging again!

Anyone with experience using the water pills for weight loss?

If you want to shed water weight, drink more water.

'Water pills' will only further dehydrate you and part of your weight gain is probably from sodium. You will not lose fat with water pills.

I took a water pill to get into a bridesmaid dress because I couldn't lose enough weight in time---I still needed to lose about 10 pounds. It worked, but gained all the weight back in a couple of days. Would not recommend it long term.

What makes you think a water pill will help you lose fat?

If you gained fat water pills wont help. Until you can get a new epileptical, eat less. Check your macros, eat clean.

    Water pills? No baby no.

Get your diet sorted out first.

This has to be one of the most illogical posts I have ever read.

Think carefully about what you're suggesting. you've gained fat through some difficult circumstances and poor eating / exercising.

Your solution is to artificially reduce the hydration levels of your body.

    How is that helpful?

Get back on track with diet and exercise. Those 7lb will go in no time.
