Hi, so I know I have made a few posts in the last couple of days but that is because I am learning alot from you guys!
So here is another question for you.
Do I need to eat back some of my burned calories in order to get a NET daily calorie intake?
Here are my stats,
Male
30 years old
6ft 2 inches
245 lbs
Apparently my BMR is 2300 cals per day and I am aiming to land on 2000 cals a day.
So if I consume 2000 cals in a day and then burn 600 cals during exercise that obviously takes me to 1400 which is clearly not enough for a man of my size, so am I suppose to eat back that 600 cals just so that I land on 2000?
If so then what is the point of doing the exercise in the first place?
Please bear in mind that I am trying to LOSE weight, not maintain my current weight!
And what if I was to burn that 600 cals and not eat any of it back, would that be detrimental to my weight loss?
Please help.
Many thanks
Dan

You should always eat back your calories but if you are netting above 1200 then I doubt you are going to hit "starvation mode."0

The point of exercise is to make you healthier. Or as I have seen someone else put it
Diet(Lose weight) to look good in clothes, add exercise to look good naked.0
