First time on MFP

Hi everyone! This is the first time I have ever used an online support system but I'm really looking forward to it. I have attempted to reach my weight loss goal numerous times but haven't succeeded. I always get off to a good start but struggle with sticking to a good diet. Maybe sharing my struggles is the change I need, instead of hiding them and feeling ashamed to admit difficulty.
I have been feeling very low for the past 2 weeks and have decided that, from tomorrow morning, all of that will change. I hope that I can motivate and encourage others as well as receive support from members of this group.
My goal is to lose 40 pounds and to feel healthier, in both body and mind.
