So what kind of scale does everyone suggest I have a digital scale but it always shows me different weights seconds from each other so I don't trust it's accuracy what do you all suggest?

I have a plain 20$ scale that isn't digital. I really don't need something fancy, I try to go by measurements and how clothing fits me more than the scale. As long as it doesn't keep going up then that's all that matters to me.0

Digital scales may show weight slightly differently depending from room temperature, so mechanic would be the most accurate. I have a digital myself and that is indeed what it does, it's quite cheap tho, like 20$, so more better ones might not do that.
It doesn't really matters tho, as far as you always use the same scale in same, and in temperature for digital ones, you will be able to measure your weight loss accurately.
As far as for showing different numbers each time after seconds of weighting again, you just have to look that when you buy one. They always write on a box or somewhere else by how much scale could make an error. Mine can make error up to 200 grams. So if I weight 80 kilos it can show somewhere between 79.9 up to 80.1 kilos. Some cheaper ones I remember can have error up to a pound or two. But you can find that out when buying them.0 -
I have a cheap Ikea scale. I think it was £5.
I bought digital last month and I binned it straight away. Every single place we sat it gave a different number. They say "Find an even floor " well we moved it into every room in the house, and even outside and I was ranging from 7 stone to 9.5 stone.
Even if we did find a truly flat surface, I would never know if it was right!
So yes, analog all the way. Maybe I have a wobbly house? Or bought the worst digital scales in the market? Who knows. But if I feel REALLY curious I might pop into the Sports Centre every other week to double check. My scales aren't too far off. Maybe 1-2lbs.0 -
I have a digital one, but have been seriously thinking on getting a doctor's scale... the detecto one.0
