30 day abs/squats challenge.

I have been doing daily ab workout for over a fortnight and have started noticing a difference. Today I decided to bite the bullet and start the 30 day ab challenge, then later in the day after catching sight of my rear I decided to start the squat challenge too. I'm hoping combined with the 6 miles I already walk a day I should see a difference at the end of the challenge. I understand that the challenge is just a starting block but was wondering if anybody had completed one of the challenges and if it helped in any way??
