Need some input

Hello Fitnesspals,

I am new to myfitnesspal. However, I am not new to trying to lose weight. Recently, I started using weights and exercising at least 4 days a week. The dilemma I am having is that I seem to be at a stand still. Can anyone who has lift weights and done cardio exercise share how it affected your weight? Where did you start losing at first,? I know everybody body type is different, just curious. Please feel free to list some helpful tips.

  • When I first started to lose weight I gained weight from the weight lifting which was actually my muscles growing bigger and then I saw results of losing weight. Cardio I steadily lost weight after 2 weeks but I was doing a spinning class which is very intense so it would matter on what cardio you're doing.
