10000 steps/Calories?

Do the calories you burn when you're counting steps count against your daily calories? It doesn't seem like it should because you don't really get your heart rate up.

Personally, if I was regularly hitting a high number I would up my activity level setting.
I would not count all of them for sure since a number of them are already included in your daily activity even if you picked sedentary.0 -
Also heart rate isn't directly related to calories burned. There is a relationship in some circumstances but high heart rate does always mean calories burned and lower heart rate doesn't mean you aren't burning calories.0
