advice and help please!

Hey everyone! I'm worried I'm not eating enough calories with how much exercise I do but I'm just not hungry. I waitress so I track that as light cleaning because it is a pretty active job. I also try to do some other form of cardio or strength training once a day. I'm trying to stay around 1,200 calories but I'm wondering how much I need to be eating if I'm honestly not that hungry. The protein shakes I drink during work keep me pretty full. I am also on the depo shot so i'm trying to negate the effect of that by eating less. Will this help or hinder my weight loss? i'm five four, 140 pounds, and 18 years old. i would not say i am overweight though my bmi is high. Also what are some good ways to increase protein? i love pasta so i'm trying to still have my carbs by eating more protein as well.

On MFP waitress is considered 'active'. You could just set up your account with your information and that activity level and not log your work day at all. Just log the intentional activities you do for exercise and eat at least a portion of those calories back.

Set your account to moderate, 1 lb per week max, and then when you do exercise, eat 50% of those exercise calories. As an 18 yr old, you will probably be more like 2000-2200 calories.
