Club soda

Hi; So I'm basically been able to wean myself off Coke and Dr Pepper with mostly success for a few years now. I won't say I havn't indulged at times, but I've been mostly good. I switched out these drinks for natural mineral/club soda. I recently was told, even club soda is bad for your heatlth due to the carbonation and also high levels of magnesium? Is this true? I've found eliminating some foods altogether from my diet, only ended in me sabotaging myself. Subbing and moderation has worked for me so far? So is club soda a go? Or no go? Thanks!
