Hello! Just back from my very first body pump class...OMG! Never felt anything like this before and found it way harder than my spin class which I suppose isn't weight bearing...... does any of you lovely peeps out there know how to put this into my exercise entry? I did loads of bar work etc but have no idea what the moves were called
Thanks in advance Rx

Id put it under Circuit0

When I do stuff like that, I wear a HRM to measure my calories burned and just enter is as circuit training.0

Yeah you pretty much need a HRM to know exactly what you burn. I know I've been doing it for months and my typical burn is 300ish calories... not at all the 500 calories it's 'supposed' to burn.0

thanks guys! I am now scanning in tinternet to see which fit monitor thingy to get Rx0

I used to add it under cardio as strength training for 60 mins about 434 calories. I now use a BodyMedia Fit Link which gives me much more accuracy. When I started at about 319lbs it was over 480 calories, now at 239 I'm about at 380 calories a session.
Keep going, its a great work out Just have to find the right weight selection and keep pushing yourself.0 -
Get a Polar!0

Heya,
If you type in Les Mills Bodypump under Cardio, it should pop up! The estimated calorie burn is about 292 for 60 minutes but this varies greatly across individuals.
