Jillian Michaels

Has anyone tried Jillian Michael's Body Revolution DVD program? I just ordered it and am eager to start! Just wondering if anyone has experienced positive results?! thx .. :)

    I just finished my first round on Saturday and loved it! I'm super close to my goal so I only lost 7.8 lbs in the 90 days, but I lost at total of 23 3/4 inches overall. Search the groups for JMBR. There are several out there where you can communicate with people doing it at the same time as you!

    I'm on Phase 2 right now, and it's awesome. I didn't see a lot of movement on the scale in Phase 1, but I've gone down a pant size and an entire fat roll has disappeared, so I'm a big fan. (For the record, I haven't been following the 6 days a week schedule religiously because I've been doing C25K for my cardio, and I don't do the diet plan since I'm a vegetarian.)

    If you've done her other DVDs (particularly 30DS and RI30) you won't find the first two workouts that challenging. But as soon as you get to workouts 3 and 4, it's a whole new ballgame. I'm loving how much stronger I am. And I've also noticed a huge decrease in the cellulite in my legs, which I had even when I was a skinny preteen. I guess that's a major plus for resistance training over only doing cardio. The muscle tone really makes you look better from head to toe. Have fun!

    I've been doing other Jillian Michaels workouts (burn fat boost metabolism) and I've seen my body changing a lot but not the number on the scale. I know it's because her workouts build a lot of muscle and strengthen the body in a way I am not used to. Just wanted to let you know that the changes will be physical at first and then you'll see the numbers on the scale go down as you keep going. I only lost a pound my first week doing her workouts BUT all of my pants were falling off!

    I've just started week 3 and can honestly say I'm noticing a difference already! I've been doing her workouts for a while and this programme is great - so far!

    @cateyedkp ~ I also recently started a running program, which I intend to continue has I journey through the JMBR program. I'm going to try my best to keep them both up! :)
