Hi, im alittle down. I am on week 3 doing the couch to 5k and I have gained a few lbs. Is it normal to gain when u first start exercising? Ive done mild exercises (cardio) for awhile before this with no problems. I dont exercise everyday. I dont do weight training so I know its not muscle gain. Could it be muscles retaining water? Anyone have experience with this? Thx

It could be water retention.
Are you eating exercise calories back, and if so, how are you estimating your caloric burn? MFP greatly overestimates calories burned for exercise.0 -
How much water are you drinking a day??0

It's probably water retention. I know it's annoying but try not to worry too much!0
