How do you avoid hunger/nausea at night?

So here is my little dilemma.. I just started my diet today lol. I did very well, I ran out of lettuce..for my salads... I am doing the Atkins diet, so bread and stuff is out of the question... How do you overcome your late at night hunger?

    Eat enough throughout the day.

    If you find yourself hungry later, try a later last meal with sufficient protein and fats...which should be easy if you're doing Atkins.

    I used to be hungry after dinner until I started eating later and going to bed earlier. If you just started this "diet" today, it's going to take a while for you to get used to lower calories and it will take a while to work out your meals that leave you satisfied.

    How many calories a day are you eating? If you are trying the 1200 thing, you may find it difficult to ever feel you've had enough. Do some exercise and eat a little more. You'd be surprised how much easier it is on more like 1600.

    Try eating things that will actually fill you up during the day. Protein and vegetables will do the trick. My best suggestion though is to make overall changes to what you eat rather than diets that eliminate entire food groups; carbs aren't evil, nor will they stop weight loss. It's easier in the long run to maintain a healthy diet that is balanced and flexible.
