cups, portions and containers

Just trying this out, but am unhappy with the non-quantified descriptions.
I prefer gms to undefined portions, but most food entries don't seem to allow this.

with you on this...I'm in the UK and have no idea what a "cup" is!! Would be nice to know ilbs/ grams...even tablespoons would help.0

I weigh most of my foods so I like to log it in as grams as well. I will use cups etc if need be but I find it to be not as accurate. Also 16 tablespoons = 1 cup0

I detest the "cup" business, I can't fathom out how that all started. It is bloody easier to just weigh the grub!

OMG....thanks guys- my guess was way off!! Think I logged 4 cups of salad one lunchtime. Guessing 4 cups would be about a bathtub full :laugh:0
