Hi everyone
Just wondered if anyone can recommend any really good exercises for bums n hips as that's where most of my weight is (and belly) what do you do to get rid of the weight from these areas?
At the moment I just have my crosstrainer and exercise bike which I do most days unless i'm working a full day.
Thanks

Squats.
But you can't spot reduce.0 -
First, eat less. Then, do heavy barbell hip thrusts, deadlifts, and squats. And sleep a lot.0

well for 1 dont eat as much cake as I do. 2 Running is making my butt and hips go away, besides 100 squats a day.0

You need to eat at a deficit to lose weight. Squats, deadlifts are great for working those areas, but you cannot spot reduce (meaning choose the area where you lose fat). Overall fat loss will make the areas smaller.0

Welcome to the club. The good news is that the lower body is probably a healthier place to carry extra weight. Once I slimmed down to a weight that I still feel is my ideal weight, I learned to love my proportions, pear shape and all.
I do the glute-centered workout in "Strong Curves" by Bret Contreras. It includes squats, lunges, and glute thrusts, and there are many other lower body exercises as well.0 -
Lots of different types of lunges and lots of different types of squats.0

Squats, deadlifts, lunges + calorie deficit, patience0
