Fresh out of Hospital (A TMI post)

Hey guys! I'm new here! 20 years old and from MO. Like the title says this is a TMI post so please excuse it, it's just for those who may care.

I'm most recently out of the hospital after attempting to take my life. I have a broken ankle but otherwise am fine. I'm in post op, so I can't get off the couch except to go to the bathroom and get some more water (which is a challenge to bring back to where I'm sitting). I feel very lazy and offput that I can't get up and exercise (or even be in charge of what I eat for dinner). But I get a walking boot on Thursday so I should be able to at least walk around the house in a few days. I can't wait until I get to get back into yoga. :D

I'm looking for friends, but I want to put a disclaimer: I have major depressive disorder, along with MANY other mental health issues. I'll try my hardest not to post things not directly related to weight loss but I may post a trigger warning post every now and again and I don't want anyone to add me that would be triggered. :/

Thanks!

First of all, congratulations on fighting to live another day. I can’t imagine what you’re going through, never having gone through it myself. That being said, just because I may not always get it, I will always be around to offer a word of support and encouragement, whether about weight loss or life in general. Feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me, I'm no stranger to mental health issues and they've certainly not helped me stay a healthy weight! What do you want to gain from using my fitness pal?

Feel free to add me. Glad you are doing what you need to get better. Do you have a jug or something with a lid ( it is easier to bring a huge sealed container than even a small one without a lid) - expert on crutches
  • I am glad to see you are trying to make the best out of what you can. My sister has attempted suicide a few times after a group of men gang raped her, she has never been the same since that day. She is 30 and was 15 when it happened. She was since diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and deals with depression/anxiety a lot. She also has crohn's disease, so I have heard and seen a good bit through her eyes. Feel free to add me, nothing you say or do will cause a judgement from me. I believe in enhancing another's life and that we can all learn something beneficial from each other.
