I am a Social Media Junkie! And it killed me not shouting from the roof top what I've been up to for the past 40 days..... FINALLY DID!!! Here's my post!
It’s been 40 days! I’ve had a few people ask and I really haven’t answered. But decided today would be the day to share. Plain and Simple I’ve been using myfitnesspal.com … it’s easy to use and best of all FREE. I track every bite and all my workouts. The method is not a new discovery. It’s just a wonderful tool with an awesome community of “pals” who are all in the same boat (some boats being bigger than others). The support and motivation received is second to none. I have the app on my laptop, ipad2 and cell. I can track from anywhere at any time. This site blows Weight Watchers Online OUT OF THE WATER! You connect with other members and can comment. You can choose how much of your profile to expose. It’s just awesome! In 40 days I’ve lost right at 16 lbs.
The main reason why I didn’t say anything sooner is because I didn’t want to be judged. I knew some would think, “There she goes again on yet another diet – wonder how long this one will last”. Sad but true, but it’s just human nature. And yes, I’ve tried/ failed many times, so much so that I was embarrassed to show excitement and post anything. However, I’ve come to realize over the past 40 days that I absolutely have to let go of past failures and what other people think of me. It’s not always as black & white as it looks from the outside. No one knows what struggles others deal with. And I refuse to let my past dictate how my future plays out.
I’m in it to win it now! Through up days, down days, never looking back. I encourage anyone who has any amount of weight to lose or for that matter if you need to gain weight – myfitnesspal is the only way to go! SERIOUSLY!!!!

Awesome! I totally get where you are coming from in not wanting to share what you are doing with others. I've always had a complex about people asking me if I am on a diet because I am eating a salad or if I am trying to lose weight because I started taking walks with a friend... I'm wondering if it's because I have no faith in myself. I never want to say "yes, I am changing my lifestyle because I want to be fit and healthy", because I feel like people are just going to wait for me to fail. Gosh, I need to change my thinking! Congratulations and KEEP it UP!!0

thanks for sharing !! I know I have kept the beginning of my journey a secret except from the "very best friend". It is always hardest to fail when others know you have failed. So congrats to you for sharing and for an awesome start to your new life journey. Keep up the great work and stay motivated !!0
