At least I think that's how it's spelled. I don't really want to google it at work...
My friend has been using this for awhile and told me that she no longer gets periods while on it. It has two days of iron pills, and while some women get their periods, many don't. Does anyone have any personal experience with this pill? I'm considering it, but am afraid that having no period will cause me to spot. Or that I still might get one, which is pretty lame.

I've taken Loestrin. It caused me to spot.
I also tried Seasonal (quarterly periods) and it made me feel sick and bloated. I stopped that right away.0 -

What do you use currently that you like?
I'm on Nuva Ring which I like, but I spot occasionally (though it seems stress-related).0 -
I had horrible side effects on Lo Loestrin. I was nauseated every single day, all day. My heart was racing and I know it sounds weird but I felt like my arms weren't attached to my body.... kind of like a weightlessness. I only stayed on it for two weeks, and as soon as I stopped taking it I was fine. Within like a day. But I know that doesn't happen to everyone!0

I like LoLo....she's a great athlete but, gets a lot of flack for being a virgin. just my opinion though. (sorry, clicked on thread not knowing what I was getting myself into until I saw "period". had to divert my attention somehow.

IUD baby!!! I have the paraguard! and I it!!!!
no pills to take, no worrying about whether the ring will stay in.. and I'm regular with my periods
Look up your local planned parenthood they will be able to walk you though all the different types of birth control, I've used them 15 years and they have always done me good:)0 -

Once I saw you had posted in a BC thread, I had to come in and check out your personal experience0 -

Lolo teaches us that abstinence is the only birth control needed. /thread.0 -

I'm on Yaz. I will only use the brand. The generic, Ocella, made me crazy.0
