Cinema on your own?

Just wondering what is the hang up with going to the cinema by yourself? Im an avid cinema going and its often I will go once a week sometimes twice a week depending on whats been released. The main reason i go to the cinema on my own, Im always in and out of the gym by about 10/10:30 during the week, now at the AMC in manchester if you go before 12pm all films at £4.50, not considering after that during the week it goes to £6:80 I think its a bargain. Second to the price, the screens often have very few people in, once when to a showing and it was just me, so there is no one else to disturp my viewing pleasure.

So are there others who don't mind going on their own or am just weird?
