Sidelined by foot injury. Upper body suggestions?

Hi All - I'm a 52 year old female who has been LOVING MFP. I've logged my food for the last 50 days straight, have been exercising (usually walking or biking, in addition to some calisthenics) daily, and have lost 20 pounds in about 2 months. Just got soft-casted and booted by my doctor due to a very painful tendon problem in my foot. No exercise for 2 weeks.
However, I want to do what I can to burn some calories and build muscle. I'm thinking push-ups (on my knees - still there anyway), bench dips, and dumbbell weight lifting. Can someone please suggest which muscle groups to work out together? Like triceps & biceps or shoulders and tri's, etc. Not sure what would be most effective and I certainly don't want to risk injury to my upper body!
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
