I dont know what to think....

i took yesterday off, and i kind of regret it...i thought i was ok because i had hit like 5 full (strength training and cardio) workouts in a row, without taking a day off. This morning I weighed and i had gained like 1.4 lb....That doesnt sound like a lot, but I freaked a little at first. I was like OMG I gotta hit it extra hard to get back on track.
Then I started thinking, and I'm not sure if I am thinking correctly or not, but since I didn't rest in between my weight lifting days like I normally do, is it possible that this gain was from my day off and my muscle building catching up with me? Like since I rested yesterday did my body catch up on the recovery that it missed over the last five days?
I know I shouldn't hit five days in a row like that, but I got a new fitness book, and it had new exercises in it that I found exciting and they felt good in different ways, so I hit them over the course of the last week.
Anyway, I'm rambling, so I'll get outta here now.

It's probably a typical fluctuation in body weight that may have something to do with sodium intake, recovery water retention, or a few other factors.
It's nothing to worry about. There's no way in 24 hours you "gained" 1.4 pounds of fat or muscle. Just a normal, every day fluctuation.0
