Bodymedia Link?

I just bought the Bodymedia Link Armband, has anyone else had experience with this? Is it accurate? I love that I can link it to my MFP account, but I'm afraid It may overestimate calories burned. I looked up reviews and for the most part it seemed reliable. Advice?

I have a bodymedia core. I love it!!!! I have had it a while. Quit using it this summer, because it's not very pretty. Lol. I ended up gaining 10lb's. I started using it again, and have already lost 5lb's of that. Lost 1lb every week, consistently. You can add me if you like. :)

I have one and I love it. Mine reads about 15% high, but since my activity level varies wildly from day to day (anywhere from 1900-3700), I really love that it tracks everything for me and I can maintain a reasonable deficit off such wildly different burns. It does encourage me to be more active, but I'd like it to shut up about my crappy sleep.

Have it and lovin it! It helps me take out the guess work in my activities and I dont have to compute my daily energy expenditure since it does that for me.

I have one and love it. It has been very accurate for me. For example, if I have a weekly deficit of 3500, I will usually lose a lb. I like trying to beat my old personal bests and I like to see which workouts burn more more calories. Mine doesn't nag me about sleep, but it gives me heck daily about my sodium :grumble:
  • I have it, too. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I have learned so much! I didn't lose any weight at first and it turned out I wasn't eating enough to cover my activity. Now I stay between 750 and 1000 cal. deficit a day and I am losing 1 to 2 lb a week. It is great and using MFP for my food makes it that much easier. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't update right away so it isn't always accurate. I can just read it on MFP so it's no big deal.
