What do you eat in a typical day to lose weight?

    It's mostly about how much you eat... but....

    What you eat affects your hunger. High fiber low calorie foods make you full on less calories.

    My plan (most days):

    Breakfast ~ 500 cal:
    Kashi GoLean Cereal (2.8 oz) w/ 1% milk
    Chobani Yogurt

    Lunch ~ 4-600 cal:
    Salad (Fast-food salads are OK, homemade are better) w/ chopped, grilled meat (usually chicken)

    Dinner ~ 4-600 cal:
    Same as lunch... usually homemade, sometimes Panera

    Evening ~ 100 cal (if I'm >100 cal under goal):
    Hood Mini Ice Cream Sandwich (100 cal)
    and/or Irish Whiskey (~100 cal / jigger)

    I often go under by ~200 calories. My daily goal is 1662... I figure that if I am eating a salad out (especially McD's) I can add at least 100 calories of extra cheese, etc that they load on. Less than 400 calories for a McDonald's salad (w/ chicken & dressing) my REAR... there's just no way that's possible with the amount of cheese they put on. (Magic cheese, anyone??)

    This is fairly low carb (carb load is in the morning).
