Hi All,

My name is Jacob and I love Food  About 2 years ago I got a bit depressed as I walked past a mirror and got a awakening on how much weight I have put on. I stepped on the scale and it tipped at 290 pounds. I got very pissed off at myself and slumped into a depressive state for a time. I figure I was probably in the state much longer than I thought. I always new I was putting on weight but I told myself, I can still run and keep up with my boys, I can be active if I want. I look alright.

When I tiped the scale at 290 I realized I had to change something. my family has a strong history of late onset Diabetes and I do not want that. A yearly physical showed I had elevated Cholestro, but I was not showing signs of pre-diabetes although I was getting close.

That is when I started my journey to lose weight. I started biking to and from work, began Power 90 work out program, and started logging what I ate on Loseit.com. I brought my weight down to 245 pounds. Life happened and I slowly started comming off the wagon. about 10 weeks ago I tiped the scale at 266 pounds and realized I needed to make a perminent lifestyle change. I will not be a yo yo.

Since then I starte Focus T25 workout program, I was guided to MFP from my beachbody support group and I love this program. I am now starting round 2 of T45 after losing over 25 pounds. I look forward to watching the weight disappear 2 pounds a week.

I hope to find a good accountability group on MFP as well.
