I just want to take a minute to say thank you to everyone on MFP. Reading the message board daily and seeing all the support we give one another has made me want this more than ever before. I have been struggling to lose weight for over a year and I finally have the motivation to actually get off my *kitten* and do something about it.
I feel differently this time and I KNOW that I can do this and get to where I want to be. I do not think I could have done it without reading the posts from all of you. The before and after pictures have made me realize that my goal is not unrealistic and if so many of you can be successful..why can't I?
I went from being totally lazy and doing nothing to working out 6 days a week..including running and 30DS. It has only been two weeks and I hope that I can keep this up but I believe that with the motivation and support that I have been getting...anything is possible and I WILL make it to my goal. So again, thank you all and keep doing what you are doing.

Try not to do too much, too soon or you'll burn out. Find a 'diet' and a routine that you can live with for the rest of your life so that once you reach your goal, you can actually maintain it.
Welcome to MFP. I'm glad you are enjoying it. I've been here for over a year and have learned quite a bit. Keep reading the forums and learn to distinguish the 'good' info from the 'bad'. Sometimes those whose sound the most harsh are the ones who know what they're talking about. Take the advice of those who have had proven success. Below are some good information links:

Good to you in reaching your goals, whatever they may be.0
