Hi! Using this app to stay on track.

Hey, fitnesspal folks! With a LOT of exercise and watching what I eat with myfitnesspal, I was able to lose 12lbs about two years ago.

In the last year, I entered a relationship with a man who has a young daughter, and it's been amazing.... but, I'm finding having a kiddo around and added items to my schedule like school functions and homework help and the like, it's harder and harder for me to find the same amount of time that I USED to have for workouts living alone as a single gal. Couple that with odd (for me) dinner times, I gained back almost 6lbs in about 8 months. I've managed to make the time for myself by getting up super duper early and working out in the morning before work instead of waiting until after work, and that seems to be the ticket to finding the time. I've lost 4 of the 6 I gained back, and I am on track to being back where I was. It is harder to lose it the second time around, and I've had to step up my game with exercise.

I'm a year-round cyclist who commutes to work on bike, totaling a 17 mile round trip every day. Even that isn't enough to keep unwanted flabbies off in my mid-30s. Having this app has really helped me stick to my caloric intake goal, mostly making sure I eat ENOUGH calories to keep up with my exercise regimen. It's really cool to see a supportive online community for this app, as I've really only accessed it through my phone before.

Anyhoo, thanks for the inspiration you all give, and keep up the great work!

OH! And, I'm not doing this all to be skinny! I have been an athlete my whole life, and I like to be lean, but I'm very strong. I have broad shoulders and big bike legs and butt full of muscle.
