My Curves gym closed, where should I go now?

When I started at Curves (18 months ago) I had never exercised before. I really like how I don't need to change weights or know what I am doing, I can just jump on the circuit and go. Now that my Curves has closed I don't know what to do. I tried doing dvd home workouts but I just don't do them well because I don't have time until late at night after the kids go to bed. By then I want to go to bed myself. I do walk about 3 times a week but need something more. I would like to join a gym that I can go to on my lunch break from work. Any advise on which gyms you like or which you hate would be very helpful.

I enjoy the 24 hour fitness we go to.0

I've always liked YMCA's. If you find one with a track, you can go walk there on your lunch breaks. Plus they have machines where you can do weights (if you do that at all) and the only thing you have to do to change weight is pull a pin. The machines too have directions on them in case you're not quite sure how to do them. They usually have trainers on the floor to who can help you out with that stuff. Trainers are also included when you join. The prices are usually pretty reasonable.0

i have an anytime fitness membership. i can use it at ANY of their facilities at no extra charge to me. they do not have a walking track, ball courts, spinning classes or the such - but they offer cardio equipment and weight training machines.
its nice too that you can come and go as you please any hour of the day or night.
obviously before/after work and lunch hours are the busiest - so you'd want to find one with enough of the types of machines you'd want.0 -
Start the C25K program (www.coolrunning.com), invest in a Wii and some fitness games (Wii Biggest Loser is very good). Does your community have a community fitness center? Invest in a pass for access to it. Go bike riding. Join a gym. There's lots of ways to work out, you just have to be creative0
