Protein and Carbs

This is my second week logging my food choices in MFP. Several days a week I go OVER the protein guideline and under the carb allowance. I do always stay within the calorie limit.

Anybody else have this happen?

Personally I think protein is the most important macro, so you should be trying to at least get "enough". Both carbs and fat are used primarily for energy; whatever route you choose to go that way, is mostly up to personal preference.

Being off by a little, like what you're saying... is really no big deal.

This is not directed at you because I dont know what your goal is but I was watching Doctor Oz the other day and he said that people who are bigger in the middle should have every meal semi low carb, high protein and have cinnamon in it.

Carbs are not needed to survive. So eat your fats and proteins and whatever remaining calories in your budget can be carbs.

You will die if you don't eat protein but you can never eat a carb and have a healthy life. Its excellent to be over on protein and under on carbs.
