getting rid of problem areas

I know there is no way to spot train and shrink the areas that you dislike about yourself, but does anyone have any tips on how you can get rid of them? For me, it's everything from my knees to the bottom of my ribcage. Oddly my chest on up is fine and my calves are great but my stomach and thighs are the worst. I've been doing weight training and full body weights to try and lose this extra fat, increasing the weights and reps slowly. I've been doing this for 17 days now and not seeing much of a change, but still keeping hopeful. Does anyone have any tips or stories about how you got through this? Or do you have problrm areas too? I'm trying to find more information on why I have fat in these places and how I can best rid myself of it.

Every body is different. Personally with me the first thing to go were boobs, and then the rest kind of all shred little by little.
17 days is not nearly enough to see any huge change. Reshaping your body is a marathon and not a sprint. It's try that you can't spot reduce, your body will change overall. You never really know what will go first and what will last.

You are already on a good path with strength training, the most important part is making sure you are eating enough yet at a deficit to still lose :flowerforyou:
In the end it's pretty much all about nutrition

I've found luckily my chest stayed the same! In fact it just appears bigger because most of everything else shrunk lol. I'm still going to do my weights and continue on. It's taken me this long to get here, I've got a bit more time left lol. I'm still learning about what nutrition is right for my goals so this is a constant battle. ^_^
