I had a feeling that changing the way I eat and exercise would be much easier in my new apartment, and it really is! I still a lot of TV dinners, but I'm working on making my own Asian varieties now. Unfortunately, that sauce adds even more sodium, but damn is it good! <3 If I have a dinner without my meatless meat it'll be lower in sodium, but I'll just have to watch it and drink more water.

I only weigh myself once per month, and I'm not due for a while, but 2 weeks prior to starting FitnessPal again I actually had started dieting. About a week into the program I had lost 6 pounds. Small victories will add up!

I no longer eat white varieties of bread or rice unless I'm eating a cheapo waffle because it was on sale. :P That goes for wraps and pitas too. I still crave carbs, but I'm slowly recovering from the addiction. Sugar's been a long time addiction for me as well, but these little Jello cups I found are perfect! Thank goodness for Valu Time!

Don't be afraid to try something new. I was afraid that after my constant diet of processed meats, I'd never be comfortable as a vegetarian, but after trying meatless meats I've realized that I could easily curb those protein cravings. Don't just aim to lose weight - aim to be healthy!
