Eat enough protein and dont under eat. Under eating will make you lose fast, but a lot of it will be muscle along with fat. Try to maintain as much muscle as possible while eating in a deficit to insure that most of what you are losing is fat, by doing this you will reduce your bodyfat percentage. You will look better with a lower bodyfat percentage at any weight, unless you go way too low but that is hard to do.

lean meat, complex carbs, plenty of veggies and learn about portion control and try new foods every now and then, because you can't possibly hate all fruits, you won't have tried all fruits.

Don't set unrealistic goals. Often times a person will get discouraged if they lose slow but any loss is better than no loss. Also, don't under eat. Your body needs food for fuel. With that said, don't overeat either. Your body needs to be in a deficit in order to lose. Try to eat more nutritiously and limit your intake of fast food, chips, soda, chocolate, etc etc. With that said don't restrict yourself. You are more likely to give up if you deprive yourself of everything. Part of your weigh loss journey is to learn to eat, and that includes every food only in smaller portions. Try to exercise. Any exercise helps. Walk around your neighborhood for 30 mins, bike, dance, anything helps. Eventually your body will get more endurance and you'll be able to do more and more. Good luck on your weigh loss. Your body's gonna thank you.
