My polar does show cals burned and shows your heart rate. When you are done it will show you how long you were in your fat burn and fitness heart rate level.

I paid like $25 for mine at Walmart and it works perfectly fine. I have had no issues. To me, way better than spending $100+ for one that does the exact same things.
