Obstacle became helper

I just thought I'd share this little tidbit with you all. When I started this, my husband was the biggest obstacle to my success, not out of meanness but out of ???? He would bring me candy or my favorite chocolates, order an extra appetizer at the restaurant etc, making it very difficult for me to stick to my good intentions. So I started reducing the size of our portions, doing less fried stuff, going for longer walks and gradually, he also started losing weight. Now, I fear I've created a monster lol, he reads all the labels, goes for a bike ride every day and he has now lost more weight than me.....and he's looking better every day. How's that for motivation.

My husband did the same thing! Unfortunately he mirrored my behavior while I was pregnant too, and now we`re back to the beginning, with us arguing in the grocery store over white sandwich bread or whole grain bread! lol Hopefully I get him back to beating me at the weightloss game.
Congrats to you both!0 -
This is so refreshing! We often hear about the discouraging people in our paths, I like to hear about the good. I am so glad that you both are doing well!
I don't see my boyfriend a lot (even though we live together) so we eat a lot of seperate meals. And I'm the type that if I make dinner - you can have that or make yourself something. He supports anything I want to do.
It's really great to have support.0
