I'm going to try to cut this next month and then start bulking in November and I know low-carb and cardio are needed. My question is, is 100 carbs low enough or should I drop it more. Also do you cut out all carbs or just complex?? I love bananas but I know they are full of carbs but I am willing to cut out what I need. I shoot for 1800cals and 130g of protein. I will continue to weight train during my cut to help from keeping, any other tips to helping keep muscle on a cut?

You don't need to cut carbs to go n a cut. Just eat at a deficit. If you want to cut carbs, do it, if not, don't worry about it. To maintain muscle, get adequate protein.0

in all honesty this was suggested to me at the gym....I've been in a deficit since feb and have lost fat and gained muscle but it did seem harder the more carbs I ate. Fasted cardio was also suggested and I plan to start that next week once I move to my apartment that has a gym. I've decreased my deficit recently because I don't feel I was eating enough especially if I wanted to gain muscle mass. I want to loose the fat, but I honestly think bulking first would be smarter since it will be easier to cut having extra muscle on my side. Thoughts?0

Cardio is unecessary as well as cutting carbs or doing cardio fasted for that matter.
Cutting = Calorie deficit
Bulking = Calorie surplus
It's calories in vs calories out
As simple as that.
You gain muscle by eating at a surplus. You lose eating at a deficit. When you lift and eat at a deficit you do not gain muscle, you preserve your muscle mass as much as possible while losing fat.
Bulking and then cutting or the opposite are both personal options. It's up to you. If you feel relatively satisfied with the way you look and want to bulk and then cut then go ahead and do it. If you arent's satisfied by the way you look now then bulking might not be the best option as of now. Keep in mind you will gain muscle AND fat, hence why you then need to cut the fat to show them muscles unless you go for a recomp which is something completely different0 -
I would cry on a low carb diet, I love my fruit and oats.... >.> All you have to do with a cut is eat less. o.O I mean my carbs are never higher than 130g usually, and normally I only hit 119g I lose. I lose when I eat 200g of carbs. Carbs are good my dear they help your leptin levels! Leptin keeps you full. You don't want to mess with that!0
