Hi everyone!

When I was 19, I stepped on the scale and it said 190 (I'm 5'2")...I was determined to never get to the 200 mark, so I started walking around my neighborhood 4 days a week and only eating healthy foods. At that point in time, I was depressed because I had moved to a new place and didn't know anyone and I stayed in my room when I wasn't out walking, so it was easier for me to lose weight because I was isolated from distractions.I got down to 140 pounds in about 7 months.

Right before my 21st birthday, I met my now husband. I was blindly happy and I didn't care when I gained a couple of pounds here and there because he didn't care. Those couple of pounds here and there slowly got me to the weight I am now, 205 pounds. I am 25 years old now and I am determined to lose the weight again, only this time I am faced with many more distractions than before.

I have a goal weight of 130 pounds that I hope to reach by this time next year. I will not waste the rest of my 20s being unhappy with myself!

I'm excited about joining this community and soaking up all the information and motivation that I can!
