Need some hope here! Troubled young girl

Hello people :smile:
I have a big issue! I don't know if I should call it an eating disorder but my situation is kind of bad, and could get worse.
I need friends for advise and somebody to talk too...

I am depressed, and that is not much to do about that. But I need to deal with my fitness plan first. I currently don't have a weight problem, I am 1.76 m and weigh 65 kilos. Ideal for me would be to weigh 60 kilos but I'd like to do it in a healthy way.

All I can think about is food. From morning to night. There is not much else I have in life at the moment. But what the issue is that I first starve myself for days to lose weight...and then I get frustrated and buys a lot of snacks and things, because I can't do it, and then I eat until I get ill and continue to eat afterwards. And then I am stuck with that for 2 days..:sad: .I can even cry while eating. After this I starve myself for days again.

I really need help!

    That sounds very much like disordered eating. You should seek professional guidance. Are you seeking help for your depression? Perhaps this is an issue you should address.

    im not sure I have something to be depressed about...so maybe it just comes from the eating...it is really weird.. and now i just did this i ate till i now shake of all the sugar i have been eating...maybe 4000 calories today. While yesterday about 800

    Depressed people don't have to have anything to be depessed about. It's an imbalance in your brain. You need to get that under control before you worry about your weight. Seek professional help.

    Okay, disclaimer: I'm in no way a professional. That said, this sounds like binge eating. Moreover, you almost certainly shouldn't be eating under 1200 calories per day.

    Depression also doesn't have to be "about" anything--you can be depressed even if your life is, by any metric, entirely sunshine and roses. (Are you familiar with Hyperbole and a Half? If not, the most recent entry gives an excellent overview of the author's struggle with depression.)

    If I were you, I would talk to someone knowledgeable about nutrition and disordered eating. You say you're a young girl--are your parents aware of your eating habits? Have you talked to your doctor? How about going to a school counselor for a recommendation to a more specialized professional?

    This could be the onset of Bulimia. I would definitely seek help via your Doctor or Counsellor.
    You CAN overcome it and learn to eat in a more stable and sustainable way.
    You CAN get your life back honey. It WILL get better.
