weights, pain on one arm

point of post is this:
one arm (my right, less strong arm) gets a twang during curls on the side of my elbow, not where I would think the muscle ligaments attach. is it wise to just use a smaller weight on that arm, and it will get better? anyone else had that issue, at all or am I just being a ***** about it and should just push through it?

Pushing through that kind of pain may worsen it. Best thing to do would be to ask a sports physician or physiotherapist, to get a proper diagnosis. If that's not feasible, then reduce the weight and do more reps for a few weeks. Then increase in small increments (2 lbs. / 1 kg).
