I am a 35 year old mother of two that lives in a suburban neighborhood and works a regular 40 hours a week. I work in a hospital and so I know the habits I am accustomed to everyday are bad, but like so many even us hospital folks choose to ignore or feel like we sacrifice ourselves for convience of our jobs somedays we don’t get to eat everyday we get busy! It takes a toll!! I am restarting my journey at 288 lbs when I stopped working out I was right about 270 so I did OK at keeping the weight from flooding back on seeming I ate fried chicken wings and French fries almost every night at work for lunch. We have a crappy cafeteria on our shift (it’s second shift ) it usually consists of a wilted kinda nasty been sitting there all day salad bar, a pizza wheel, and the hot bar which they usually serve Hamburgers, Hot Dogs which are weird looking and sometimes vary with a slight green hue, BLT’s but the bread isn’t dry toasted it gets coated with melted nonstick material and fried on a flat iron grill, grilled chicken which is a pre processed patty that is never ready to go and takes almost 10 minutes from your lunch ½ hour, chicken wings with your choice of buffalo sauce or BBQ, chicken strips, or chicken patties (the fried coated kind) and possibly one left over from the 1pm lunch hour hot entrée of the day (lasagna noodles, chicken with mushroom, something), and every once in awhile you will find a pre-packaged chef salad or a sandwich leftover from the sandwich bar (tuna, chicken salad, ham, turkey, etc they also have two wilted orange slices and a handful of mystery grapes some may be good others may be on their way to raisins one never knows). It is not hard to see why losing weight and keeping weight off may be hard for somebody like me that doesn’t always want to take time to package and carry my own food. That is truly the issue it’s not that I don’t have the time cause I do. I am at home in the mornings by myself usually and the kids are at school in all honesty I just don’t like cooking for myself or taking my lunch to work, but that is something else I am working on. Not being LAZY and making excuses for myself.

Cooking and packing lunch are two of the things I hated when I was a working lol. Not because I didn't want to take something healthy but because I honesty hate cooking lol. So I understand where you are coming from there. But, it's one of those things I had to force myself to do or I'd tell myself that I had to cook or I had no choice but to take a salad every single day and well salad got old after two weeks.0
