HR Monitor VS Phone apps. calorie count Confused ????

I have been using MFP and runkeeper to log my exercise. Normally if I use run keeper to record my run the amount of calories it shows is somewhat less than what MFP shows.
My main concern is I recently bought and heart rate monitor which I used to record my runs.
First time when I used HRM on Crosstrainer (Elleptical) It shows me the amount of calories burned 695 and Elliptical itself showed 710 which is Ok and compareable. But today mornign I went out for run the result were absolutely uncompilable with Run keeper app and My heart rate Monitor I am totaaly confused which one is right the work out summary is below

Run keeper

Km 5.65 Duration 46:56 Average Pace 8:19 Calories Burned 672

Suunto Heart rate Monitor

Km 5.72 Duration 46:57 Average Pace 7:31 Calories Burned 1278 Average HR 156 bpm

Moreover My personal stats are Height:- 6.4 Weight:- 284 LBS Age; 33

Please Shed some light which one should I believe.

Generally speaking, I'd go with the one that has the most information to go on; which is usually the HRM. That said, there's lots of things that can affect your heart rate that don't really increase the calories burned -- Heat / Humidity for example. If the HRM is new make sure it's being consistent with itself - if it seems erratic you might have a bad one.

Take away though is that'd I'd go with the HRM if you think it's being consistent and getting a good reading.

All 3 are just estimates, so it's almost impossible to say which is going to be the least inaccurate. To be safe, I'd log the lowest figure, where ever that comes from.
