Whatever you want to do that gets your heart rate up for 30 minutes.

Some people take Zumba classes. Some do Jillian Michaels dvds. Some people speed walk. Some run. Whatever you do, it should be fun for you. Try a variety of things until you find what you like.

    Walking, swimming, biking ...

    Pretty much anything.

I'd recommend rollerblading, but my shattered wrist argues against it.

Check out Hasfit, they have ALL kinds of videos! Lots of the beginner ones are short, so I double them up or do a few.

I'd recommend the Couch to 5k. Its about 30mins 3 times a week. I'm on week 2 now, but I do think introducing it to my routine has helped me with not only fitness but weightloss too

I'd say to get something from BeachBody. Their exercises are fun and you burn a lot of calories in a shorter amount of time.

You don't say just how much of a beginner you are.

100 pounds ago, and before I got my new knees, I couldn't do much of anything in the way of walking, etc. Wii Tennis and Wii Fit was what got me moving. Wii Tennis isn't enough for me anymore (but still fun!) but I still do several of the Wii Fit exercises on a fairly regular basis.

What type of cardio do you enjoy or are looking to do? If it's running you are interested in check out Couch to 5k.
