Squats without weights

    It's going to be really hard to feel that burn in your glutes without some weight on there with squats since its such a strong muscle group.

    That said, when you do your squats are your knees traveling in front of your toes? If so you are probably leaning forward to much. As precious poster said, might be bet to have someone in person check your form or take a video so people online can check it.

    Depending on bone length, sometimes your knees will have to travel beyond your toes. Rippetoe covers this quite effectively in Starting Strength.

    What's more important to observe is how your knees track during the squat, do they stay out or collapse in? Collapsing is a form fault and potentially a future problem.

    Add some weights on, that woman's *kitten* only got so delish from knocking some weights on a bar and getting dat *kitten* to the ground, then to the sky.
