The last 10 lbs!

The first 40 lbs melted off, and I am finally down to the last 10 lbs.... And I have been for a month. Why does it become so hard to lose the last bit of weight? I was able to come within 5 lbs of my goal, but increased excercise and food, gaining 5 lbs back. So now, I have 10 lbs to lose and I have no clue how to accomplish this. I've become increasingly lenient and my motivation is almost non existence! Any advice? How did you lose the last 10 lbs? What worked? What motivated you?

    'm not really sure what my motivation is... I love the sense of achievement when I accomplish something I set out to do. Having said that I'm not there yet - 6lb to go, for me. Maybe you've had enough of exercising? It's fine to cut that right back for a while if you've been at it hard for a long time.
