How many calories should I be consuming!

Hi, I'm very confused.
I am 30 year old male, 6ft 2inches and 245 lbs (I have already lost a stone), but my weight loss seems to have stalled!
I exercise every day a combination of 45 minutes cycling and 10 mins HIIT jumping rope (so I imagine I'm probably burning near the 400 cals mark) and I'm trying not to exceed 2000 calories a day in my diet. Is this rite?
When I type my details and activity levels into MFP it tells me that given my height, age, weight and activity levels that I should consume about 3000 calories a day in order to lose 2 lbs a week! This cant be rite surely?
The problem is that I panic when I start approaching the 2000 calorie mark but I'm now wondering if I should actually be consuming more?
Very confused now, someone please help.
Thanks

I haven't plugged your numbers into a calculator, but 2000 is probably either close to, or below your BMR. With that much exercise, and given all other factors, you should---in no way---panic when you start to eat near your BMR.

Given exercise calories, I could believe 3k/day.

EDIT: My two cents: Try for 2800 calories/day, not eating back exercise calories...and maybe work some more resistance training in there.
