Hi I lost 18 lbs earlier this year, but I'm struggling to get back on the wagon due to emotional eating and being stressed etc...

I have days where I eat okay but others my fridge is full of rubbish..

Just recently moved out of my parents house and was wondering how to plan my meals etc

Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks so much

    Hi

    Congratulations on your weight decrease.

I started with my favorite meals and I changed them with a healthier approach like:

I replace all fried items with baked ones ( done in my kitchen oven) Chicken, sweet potato,

replace all pasta with whole grain pasta. ( 2 oz per person, per day)

I prepare my own salad dressing (Extra virgin olive oil and vinegar with other natural herbs I buy)

Have a fresh salad at least twice a week with dark leafy greens (spinach, arugula or kale) and fresh raw veggies.

replaced white rice with brown rice ( 1/4 cup cooked per person daily) and quinoa (1/2 cup cooked per person daily)

replaced white bread with whole grain bread. (only 2 slices person a day)

replaced all sodas and bottled juice with plain water or grren tea or my own fruit smoothie

    I hope it helps

    Good luck in your journey

Figure out your trigger foods and eliminate them. Second, eat food high in protein and fats; they are great for satiety and make it harder to go over your calorie requirements. Also eat plenty of veggies as they are low calorie and will keep you full due to the fibre.
