54 lbs to lose

Hi there
I have 54lbs to lose through gaining weight whilst pregnant with my first babes ( would love to lose this by the end of the year!!), I've been told I'm NOT to exercise at all for at least another 3-6 weeks and appreciate any advice or friend adds for motivation as new on here. I haven't start logging yet will start logging 1st Oct.
My profile pic. is how I used to look and now I've been told I look like a totally different person and have had a few cruel comments although they were said jokingly I know they're true!!

Yikes, 54lbs is too aggressive of a goal for just 13 weeks. Better to shoot for 1 or 2lbs a week. Let me go grab a helpful link or two here for you.

if you JUST had the babes -
I would check with your doctor. Since you said you can't exercise another 3-6 weeks, i assume it is because you just had a baby.
Also, if you are breastfeeding, please ask a doctor what the right amount of calories are right for you. We are not doctors.
Another also, you are being way too aggressive to lose that much. Typical is 1 pound a week. Ideally is .5-1 pound a week. You may lose 2 pounds a week at first, if there is a lot to lose, but if you are so determined to lose 54 pounds in 3 months, you are setting yourself up for failure.0
