When marketing for week's worth of groceries, etc., the cart becomes heavy to push. It takes about an hour or so to accomplish this task. If cleaning your house is an allowable exercise, is shopping &
pushing a cart an allowable exercise & how many calories could be attributed to this task?

Wear a heart rate monitor and I think you will find that pushing that cart is not really a cardio or strength exercise. If you do it every week, your body is probably used to doing it and that's really not pushing yourself.
BTW - I don't count house cleaning either. I do that every few days.0
