    Have them, and also on my face lol, people try to make me smile all the time so they can see them!

    Just googled that, not sexy at all in my opinion. Probably on par with pointy elbows.

    As a kid, I noticed my mom had them and my dad did not. My mom is overweight, my dad was not. I always thought back dimples were only on over weight people. When I got married I noticed my husband has them. he is skinny. So, I guess they are genetic, to a degree, but I just can not see them as sexy.

    They're from a short ligament in the back. So yes, genetic.

    Weird thing is, my one year old daughter has very pronounced back dimples already.. and my husband does too, but he is very fit..
    I didn't know a one year old could get them?? Must be more of a genetic thing?

    The dimples of Venus (also known as back dimples, butt dimples or Venusian dimples) are sagittally symmetrical indentations sometimes visible on the human lower back, just superior to the gluteal cleft. They are directly superficial to the two sacroiliac joints, the sites where the sacrum attaches to the ilium of the pelvis.

    Wikipedia makes everything less sexy :P

    I have them, very slight like some others have said but they are there. I wouldn't call them sexy, but I do think they are cute.

    Interestingly enough I have them despite my rotundness. lol. I'm interested to see if they continue to be there during my Shrinkage.

    Yes, I have them. I always attributed them to fat (love handles). Didn't realize they were something to be desired. So, guess I don't find them sexy.

    Then again, on some they look great.
    You need no target, why ruin a perfect line? Plus the back dimples are where your thumbs go anyway.
